Adam J. Garret
Adam J. Garret is an Associate at Gentile, Horoho & Avalli, P.C. He is a graduate of the American University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He joined the firm in August 2022 after practicing at another well-respected firm in Downtown Pittsburgh. Mr. Garret enjoys assisting his clients with all aspects of family law including divorce, equitable distribution, support, custody, and protection from abuse. Mr. Garret also practices in the area of estates and trusts.
Mr. Garret discovered his passion for family law and litigation while in law school. He interned for Gentile, Horoho & Avalli and served as a certified legal intern for Neighborhood Legal Services and the Family Law Clinic at Pitt Law. He competed on the traveling Mock Trial Team and was the winner of the Murray S. Love. Mock Trial Competition. He was also the Managing Editor of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy.
Mr. Garret understands that many of his clients are going through the most difficult times of their lives. He prides himself on his prompt and consistent communication with his clients so they remain updated on the status of their case every step of the way. He is committed to making sure his clients understand the legal process and the effects it will have on their families and financial futures. He is a problem solver with an eye towards cost effectiveness. He strives for compromise and settlement when possible, but is not afraid to zealously advocate for his clients in court when necessary.
